Description: We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented professional who is responsible for on-site planning, organizing, hiring, training, budgeting and staff supervision of the Glencoe Swimming and Sailing beach. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing sailing and aquatic programs including a small concession operation.
Qualifications: B.S. degree in Recreation and Park Administration, business administration or related field from an accredited college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. A minimum of two years full-time experience in program management or facilities supervision preferred but not required.
The Facilities Manager has or must complete within six months of the commencement of employment, Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguard and Instructor Certification, Food Service Sanitation State Certification and U.S. Sailing or Powerboating Certification. The Facilities Manager must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s license.
