The Northbrook Park District is seeking passionate and creative Site Directors to work part-time at our Adventure Campus program. Adventure Campus is a before and after school care program for elementary school children. Site Directors lead organized activities for the children, create daily lesson plans, manage multiple Counselors and are responsible for the safety of the children at their site.
Applicant must be available Monday-Friday from 6:45am-8:30am and/or 2:45pm-6:30pm during the 2018-2019 school year. Must also be available to attend training August 14-16 from 2pm-6pm.
Qualifications: Must have 2 years of experience working with children. Enrollment in, or completion of, a college degree in education, recreation or related field is highly desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and implement daily activities for children. Daily activities include themed arts and crafts, athletic games and other enrichment play. Supervise Counselors and communicate with school personnel and parents on a regular basis.
