JOB SUMMARY:

The Clarendon Hills Park District is seeking a qualified applicant for a newly created position, "Parks Foreman"

The Parks Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Parks department staff and is involved with the maintenance of all the Park District buildings, grounds, and all recreational facilities. The Parks Foreman will be expected to be hands on in the field working alongside the park staff as well as assisting the Superintendent of Parks with administrative duties.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week. General hours are 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday. Weekends, evening, holidays, and special events work will be required as needed (varies with the season).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified applicants must have a high school diploma and at least five years minimum experience in parks and facility maintenance with supervisory responsibility. Have a valid Illinois Driver’s License, Illinois Pesticide Applicator License, Certified Playground Safety Inspector Certificate, Certified Pool Operator Certification or ability to obtain these within the first 90 days of employment.
