The Roselle Park District operates and manages over 158 acres of land in 16 parks, and offers approximately 276 recreational and seasonal programs. We provide a full range of activities and services year-round. Major recreation programs include athletics, music, cultural arts, dance, day camps, fitness, preschool, outdoor recreation, trips, and special events.
The Parks and Facilities Foreman position is a supervisory position that receives direction from the Superintendent of Parks. This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Parks Department staff and Facility Assistants and is involved with the maintenance of all the District buildings, grounds, facilities including aquatics, and equipment. The Parks Foreman also participates in the planning and managing of Parks Department operations, including some administrative functions, working with other departments, and managing the Parks Department in the absence of the Superintendent of Parks.
Flexibility to be available for emergency call-outs during off time as needed. Will be required to work weekends and evenings as necessary.
