Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan, the Park District of Highland Park has a mystique all its own just waiting to be discovered. Founded over a century ago, it is one of the oldest park districts in Illinois. The Park District serves over 30,000 residents in the City of Highland Park, Illinois and a small portion of the Village of Deerfield and is located approximately 25 miles north of Chicago.
We are currently looking for a Full-Time Aquatics Supervisor - Lakefront to join our extraordinary team.
Under the direction of the Manager of Aquatics, the Aquatics Supervisor - Lakefront is responsible for assisting in the organizational planning, coordinating and implementation of operational and aquatic program planning at Lakefront Properties. The Aquatics Supervisor Lakefront will work collaboratively with the Aquatics Supervisor - Programs and be responsible for cross training staff to work all applicable Aquatics operations. The Aquatics Supervisor Lakefront directly supervises full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees within the Aquatics area, including but not limited to seasonal supervisors, lifeguards, park ambassadors, attendants, and additional support staff as needed.
