JOB OPPORTUNITY with the Glenview Park District:
Park & Facility Services Seasonal Maintenance
(Part-Time)
“Recreate” a better life with a career in the field of Parks & Recreation!
JOB SUMMARY
We are looking to hire several seasonal maintenance workers who will be responsible for:
- Maintaining district owned parks and facilities.
- Landscaping, athletic field maintenance, facility maintenance.
- Safe operation of district owned vehicles and equipment.
- Communicating issues of importance to supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid IL driver’s license. Some prior experience in maintenance preferred.
PAY & SCHEDULING
This is a part time seasonal position, working approximately 40 hours per week. Our season is currently underway and runs through November 1st (weather permitting). Typical schedule is Monday – Friday from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm, however some weekend work may be required. Target hiring range is $15-$20 per hour.
