WHAT YOU’LL DO: As the Head Coach, you'll provide leadership for the Competitive Team program including participant and community relations; instructing patrons, overseeing safety and supervising coaching staff.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: As the Head Coach, you'll provide leadership for the Competitive Team program including participant and community relations; instructing patrons, overseeing safety and supervising coaching staff.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Plan, prepare and supervise weekly, monthly and annual team practices and competition schedules.
- Lead training and development of all levels of the gymnastics on the team as well as support recreation classes.
- Enforce proper spotting techniques, skill progressions and development.
- Direct and assist in daily upkeep of the gymnastics facility; including cleaning and proper storage of
equipment after practices. - Attend and supervise gymnasts at gymnastics competitions and assign assistant coaches.
- Attend continuing education meetings, coaching seminars and workshops.
- Carry out plans, organize, and lead daily operations as assigned.
- Work cooperatively with a growing program and participate in collaborative activities.
- Identify problems or issues and develop effective solutions, resolve complex problems and gain cooperation.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- High school graduate or equivalent, with some college preferred and 2 year of experience as a competitive gymnast and/or coach.
- Current USA Gymnastics and National Gymnastics Association (NGA) or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
WHEN YOU’LL WORK:
- Monday-Friday 3:45-9:00pm & weekend meets
WHAT YOU’LL GET: Starting at $25.00 per hour but final pay rate depends on qualifications (DOQ); medical insurance and IMRF eligible position, up to 39 hours per week earning sick and vacation time.
