Description of Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Administrative Clerk for Youth and Senior Services is to oversee all administrative and financial records for the division. Given that the other full time staff is often required to be at other locations, this position is essential as a nexus of communication for staff to respond to inquiries in a timely manner.

Minimum Experience: Minimum three years experience working in similar finance or administrative role. Experience or strong desire in working with older adults preferred.
Preferred Education: Graduation from high school; associate's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Proficiencies: This position requires excellence in accuracy, attention to detail, and communication, in addition to the ability to effectively present ideas both orally and in writing, the ability to produce reports of a varying nature on a timely basis, skills in the operation of a computer, and the ability to multi-task amid interruptions throughout the day. Strong knowledge of and experience in working with older adults, and the patience required when working with this population is essential. Minimum typing proficiency of 40 W.P.M., and expertise in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
