The Wauconda Park District is seeking a Full-time Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be creative, energetic, and have the ability to multitask while collaboratively working with all areas of the Park District. The Coordinator is responsible for the organization and development of public information, public relations, and marketing strategies for the district. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong skills related to graphic design.
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement a District wide marketing plan, which brings awareness to all District services, programs, and facilities. Design three (3) seasonal program brochures, including themes, design, layout, and editing. Develop and maintain a working relationship with area media. Coordinate the District’s electronic communications, including website, e-newsletters, Constant Contact, and social media. Maintain a district photo library for use in promotional materials, coordinate sponsorship opportunities with local, regional, and national businesses and organizations.
