Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid Illinois Driver’s “D” License. An Associates Degree in Construction Administration required, certificate in trade school or equivalent work experience related to, facilities and/or medium to large office complex or campus setting highly desired. Must have an understanding of facility and building related construction and systems. This position is expected to be able to work flexible hours with overtime during prime seasons.
Duties: Under the direction and supervision of Director of Operatios, the Assistant Project Manager assists in improvements projects, renovations, and repairs of facilities related to guest experience of the District. Assist in coordination of construction activities, facilitation of the design and engineering element of all construction including, provision of consultant services, and project commissioning and follow-through. The employee shall collaborate with all departments within the District including Recreation, IT, Finance, and Planning.
