General Manager

Summary:

Fox Run Golf Links combines outstanding customer service with a championship 18 hole course to create one of the most enjoyable golf experiences in the northwest suburbs. In December 2021, a $9.8 million clubhouse and maintenance facility opened for business. The new spacious clubhouse overlooks the course with floor to ceiling windows which open to a large patio sections. There is a large bar and grill area with a professional chef. There are 3 full swing golf simulators and a video gaming area.

Fox Run Golf Links is searching for a new General Manager to oversee the day to day operations of the facility. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and providing direction in all aspects in the management of the facility, including golf operations, course maintenance, customer service, sales, and food and beverage.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Business Administration or closely related field.

• Three (3) or more years of demonstrated success as a golf course manager or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training.

• Valid Illinois Driver’s License. Basset Liquor Control Certification. Safe food service certification, CPR and First Aid Certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hiring salary range is $68K - $84K; starting salary is dependent on qualifications. The Elk Grove Park District offers a generous benefits package that includes coverage for employees and their dependents for health insurance, dental insurance, and life insurance. Automatic enrollment in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) pension plan. The District benefits package also includes, vacation, personal days, holidays and sick leave.
