Over View:

The Building Specialist is a Full-Time Position reporting to the Maintenance & Operations Supervisor. We offer a competitive compensation starting at $18.73 per hour. Our benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending account, 457 plan(s), IMRF Pension, $300 reimbursement for wellness related activities in 2022, tuition reimbursement, vacation, holidays, sick time and personal days. This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement.

The work schedule is September through May, working Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. June - August, working Sunday 6:00am to 2:30pm and Monday -Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00pm.

Job Purpose:

The Building Specialist ensures the upkeep, safety, repair and preventive maintenance of all Special Facility buildings, equipment and supplies and provides logistical support for the delivery of all programs, special events and services.
