Superintendent of Recreation Programs

Summary:

The Superintendent of Recreation Programs is responsible for the operation of the recreation programs within the Recreation Division. The Superintendent of Recreation Programs directly supervises full-time Early Childhood Program Manager, School Age Program Manager, Athletic Managers and Seniors/Special Event Program Manager, as well as part-time staff as assigned by the Director of Recreation. This newly created position, reporting directly to the Director of Recreation, will also work closely with the Superintendent of Recreation Facilities to support/assist the facilities and aquatic operations as well.

Location:

Triphahn Center - 1685 W. Higgins Rd Hoffman Estates, IL

Days/Hours of Work:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm with flexed evening and weekend hours as needed.

Experience and Education:

Five years of programming experience is preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Park, Sports Management, Leisure Services or related field.
