Marketing Intern

TikTok? Instagram? We are seeking an individual interested in influencer-marketing, while putting the valuable skills they learned in school to use in a practical work setting. The Marketing Intern will assist the Marketing & Communications Manager with advertising and promotional efforts. They will evaluate marketing strategies to advertise special events and programs through various channels. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with great communication skills and a good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.

It is a casual atmosphere in a great community. This is a 10-week part time position working a flexible summer schedule including daytime, evening, and weekend hours. You will work in a variety of settings: recreation center, gymnasium, fitness room, outdoor aquatics area, 18-hole golf course, banquet facility, etc. The Park District is also responsible for a 4-mile bike path and 14 park sites with tennis courts, ball fields, etc. Another perk? You have full usage of these amenities while working at the district at no cost.

This is a paid internship earning $15 per hour. The District will conduct your criminal background check, drivers abstract, and you must successfully complete a medical examination and drug testing prior to starting employment.
