Nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan, the Park District of Highland Park has a mystique all its own just waiting to be discovered. Founded over a century ago, it is one of the oldest park districts in Illinois. The Park District serves over 30,000 residents in the City of Highland Park, Illinois and a small portion of the Village of Deerfield and is located approximately 25 miles north of Chicago.

 

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Manager of Aquatics to join our extraordinary team.

 

In this position you will be responsible for the operations and associated aquatics programs at the Recreation Center of Highland Park (Indoor Pool), Hidden Creek Aquapark (outdoor aquatic park), Rosewood Swimming Beach, Park Avenue Boating Facility and other Lakefront Facilities/Park Properties. This position directly supervises the Recreation Supervisors of Aquatics - Program and Lakefront, Recreation Facilities Coordinator, Park Ambassadors who supervise the access, safety, and security of lake front properties and part-time and seasonal staff at the Recreation Center of Highland Park, Hidden Creek Aquapark, and Rosewood Beach.
