The Pleasant Dale Park District has an immediate opening for an energetic and driven team-player to join our staff as the Extra Innings Supervisor (Before/After School Care). The Extra Innings Supervisor is responsible for and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Extra Innings Program. This position is an "at will" employee which will typically require working Monday through Friday from 6:30-9:00AM & 2:30-6:00PM and is IMRF eligible.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. A high school diploma with 1-2 years of direct experience working with children also qualifies for this position.  Candidate must be a minimum of 18 years of age and be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, superiors, School District 107 staff, and the public. The Extra Innings Supervisor must be CPR/AED and First Aid Certified or ability to acquire within 3 months of hire.  Candidates must also pass a physical examination, drug screening, and criminal background check. 

Responsibilities: The Extra Innings Supervisor will provide direct supervision of students both before and after school. The supervisor will create weekly rosters and keep daily attendance records.  The supervisor will plan and provide the students with activities and experiences, distribute snacks, monitor supplies, and communicate often with the Recreation Supervisor.  The supervisor will work closely with other staff members daily. 

Starting at $18 an hour DOQ
