Club Rec and Camp Supervisor

The Lombard Park District is seeking an enthusiastic, fun, and motivated individual to manage our before- and after-school program, Club Rec. In addition, the position will oversee summer camp, school day off programming, school break camps, and select special events. This position works under the direction of the Program Manager for school-age, general programs, and events. 
 

The mission of the Lombard Park District is to Provide Quality Recreation Opportunities for All to Enjoy Life. The Lombard Park District is an Illinois Distinguished Accredited agency, governed by an elected board, and staffed with over 500 dedicated employees. The District is a past winner of the National Gold Medal award from the National Recreation and Park Association and is a CAPRA Accredited Agency. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Recreation Management or a related field. Two years of full-time professional-related experience preferred or a combination of education and experience. Independent, innovative, adaptable, and organized, with strong recreation programming and management skills. CPR, First Aid, AED certification required or training will be provided. 

We offer competitive compensation with a minimum starting salary of $47,987 (DOQ). Our benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a flexible spending account, a 457 plan(s), an IMRF Pension, tuition reimbursement, vacation, holidays, sick time, and personal days.
