Madison Meadow Athletic Center Manager
The Lombard Park District is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, fun, and motivated individual to manage the Madison Meadow Athletic Center. The Madison Meadow Athletic Center opened in the summer of 2018. The 38,000-square-foot facility includes two regulation basketball courts, a 4,800-square-foot fitness center, an indoor track, two batting cages, and two fitness / multi-purpose studios. The position oversees facility operation and includes supervision of budgets, facility scheduling, rentals, fitness center operations and programs, pickleball, memberships, customer service staff, building staff, and designated programs and events.
The mission of the Lombard Park District is to provide quality recreation opportunities for all people to enjoy life. The Lombard Park District is an Illinois Distinguished Accredited agency, governed by an elected board, and staffed with over 500 dedicated employees. The District is a past winner of the National Gold Medal award from the National Recreation and Park Association, and is a CAPRA Accredited Agency.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional-related experience. Independent, innovative, adaptable, and organized, with strong facility management, recreation programming, and staff management skills. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required, or training will be provided. CPRP preferred.
We offer competitive compensation with an anticipated starting salary range of $60,000 to $67,000 based on experience and qualifications. The full salary range for this position is $59,971 - $93,819. Our benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending account, 457 plan(s), IMRF Pension, tuition reimbursement, vacation, holidays, sick time, and personal days.
