Program Manager - Athletics

The Lombard Park District is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated individual to manage athletic programming. The Lombard Park District has two full-time athletic program managers. This position oversees youth soccer, summer T-ball, martial arts programming, golf programming, athletic summer camps, gymnastics, and additional contractual programs. This position will partner with the other Athletic Program Manager. 

The mission of the Lombard Park District is “To Provide all with Quality Recreation Opportunities to Enjoy Life”. The Lombard Park District is an Illinois Distinguished Accredited agency, governed by an elected board, and staffed with over 500 dedicated employees. The District is a past winner of the National Gold Medal award from the National Recreation and Park Association and is a CAPRA Accredited Agency. 

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Recreation Management, Sport Management, or a related field. A minimum of two years of full-time professional-related experience is preferred. Independent, innovative, adaptable, and organized, with strong athletic programming and customer service skills. CPR, First Aid, AED certification required or training will be provided.  CPRP preferred.    

 

We offer competitive compensation with an anticipated starting salary range of $52,910 to $58,000  based on experience and qualifications. The full salary range for this position is $52,910 to $81,036. Our benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending account, 457 plan(s), IMRF Pension, tuition reimbursement, vacation, holidays, sick time, and personal days.
