Examples of Duties
- Lead and supervise overall operations of LFDA including the planning, organization, and supervision of the dance school including tap, ballet, jazz, modern, acro, and hip hop
- Long range program planning and new activity development
- Recruit, train, manage, and evaluate part-time dance instructors
- Coordinate seasonal schedules, events, performances, and camps
- Support budget planning, marketing, and program evaluation
- Create engaging social media content
- Support various Department & Foundation events (e.g., golf outing, July 4th)
- Work evenings, weekend, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dance or similar field of study
- Experience teaching multiple styles of dance to a variety of ages and ability levels
- Experience managing multiple styles of dance and schedules
- Experience with planning, coordinating, and managing dance productions
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within three months of hire date

Full Salary Range: $50,545 - $72,500 DOQ
Opportunity for step increase at 6-month review, along with annual step increase opportunities
