Salary: $50,000-$58,000

The Lockport Township Park District is seeking a dynamic, creative, and experienced individual to take a leadership role in the planning and implementation of district wide special events as well as the coordination of select senior programs and clubs. Additional responsibilities include serving as a community liaison to the Fairmont Community Center and some duties related to the Gladys Fox Museum. 

The best applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management or a related field accompanied by at least 3 years’ experience. Experience working in the areas of event planning or senior services are also advantageous. Applicants must also possess a valid Illinois driver’s license.  

This is a full-time year-round exempt position. Core hours vary and can be flexible. The target salary range is $50,000-$ 58,000 depending on qualifications .Health Benefits and IMRF pension are available.
