Athletics Supervisor
THE OPPORTUNITY
This position, under the supervision of the Superintendent of Recreation, is an integral part of the Recreation team and is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of programs for both youth and adult audiences, including instructional athletics, leagues, and fitness.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Athletics Supervisor will oversee all athletics and fitness programs, including: program and curriculum development, league supervision and management,
program evaluation, program budgeting, and assisting with facility operations, general interest programming, program instruction and special events. This position also hires, trains, and supervises part-time and seasonal staff and contractors.
WHAT IT TAKES
To be successful in this position, candidates will need considerable experience in program planning and implementation, sports knowledge and experience, a
comprehensive understanding of league administration, keen attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, outstanding organization and communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A degree in Recreation, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred. CPRP or willing
to obtain CPRP is desired.
