JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Gymnastics and Cheer Supervisor, the Gymnastics & Cheer Coordinator is responsible for the overall quality and development of all gymnastics, tumbling and cheer programs as well as program instruction. This position will include a strong focus on the development and implementation of the overall quality of instruction. This position will include both instruction and administrative duties as assigned. This is an at-will position.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum five (5) years demonstrated success in gymnastics/cheer instruction in a team environment. Knowledge of USA Gymnastics guidelines as pertinent to safety, instruction, and coaching. Must attain and maintain a USA Gymnastics professional membership and Amateur Athletic Union membership. Additional certifications include; USAG Safety & Risk Management Certification, Safe Sport Certifications, Tough Coaching or Emotional Abuse Certifications and Proactive Coaching Alliance Certifications within six (6) months of hire. Strong supervisory and communication skills are necessary. Consistent attendance. Attain valid adult and child CPR/AED certification within six (6) months of employment. All certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
