Oversee the operations of the aquatics department and programs, including staff supervision, budget management, and planning. Coordinates and supervises the day-to-day operation of aquatic programs. Maintains records, schedules staff, and ensures proper pool maintenance. Provides swim instruction and life guarding as necessary. Responsible for the planning, direction and supervision of other recreation programs as directed by supervisor.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation or related field or a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in aquatics programming and personnel management is required. Lifeguard instructor and swim lesson instructor certification through a recognized aquatic risk management association. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must have excellent communication skills. First Aid, AED and CPR certification or the ability to obtain such within three months of hiring
