The Tinley Park-Park District is seeking motivated customer service oriented individual to join our Front Desk Team. We are currently looking to fill a full time day coordinator position with 1 weekend day scheduled per month.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in an office environment required with a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience. CPR certification is required within 3 months of hire date.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (DUTIES):
1. Serve as receptionist, greet visitors, check and scan membership passes, answer questions, and provide specific program information 2. Perform daily office operations, such as opening and closing procedures, registration, picnic permits, building rentals, etc. 3. Conduct facility tours and familiarize patrons with the facility 4. Review daily facility activities and upcoming events; be familiar with current programs 5. Maintain a professional, diplomatic, and friendly relationship with customers and vendors 6. Perform daily clerical tasks as needed by coworkers, including but not limited to, filing, data entry, copying, researching, faxing, calling participants, distributing material, etc.
7. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front counter area
8. Training of new Service Team Attendants 9. Maintain front counter procedure manual 10. Coordinate all services at the front desk 11. Scheduling of service team attendants. 12. Perform annual employee evaluations on part time service team attendants 13. Coordinate communication between front desk and all other departments
