 Salaried, $62,000-$78,000- commensurate with experience

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or closely related field, plus 3+ years of relative experience. A satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work may be considered. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. Experience with Incode 10 also preferred.

Under the direction of the Director of Finance/HR, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for the daily human resource and risk management functions of the District. Must possess thorough working knowledge of Federal and State laws pertaining to payroll. Oversees all new hire and re-hire paperwork for employees. Handles the development, coordination and implementation of onboarding new employees, and assists with District's training programs. Handles all benefit coordination for all FT and applicable PT employees. Handles processing of IMRF, ICMA, IDES, IL New Hiring Reporting, W-2 and ACA requirements. Maintains benefit leave for all FT and applicable PT employees. Oversee, maintain and troubleshoot District's timeclock management system (TCP). Act as District's co-safety coordinator to PDRMA. Open to start immediately Monday through Friday, 40 hrs. per week. Some flex schedule may be considered.
