NOW HIRING:  Facility Supervisor (Full-Time)

JOB SUMMARY: The Facility Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center in the late afternoon and evening hours.  This supervision includes that of the custodial staff, gym attendants, and the agency operations at that time of day.  The Facility Supervisor will also maintain room rentals and dog park memberships. Hours of coverage expected are 1:00-9:00pm or 2:00-10:00pm depending on the season and will include some weekends and holidays.

 

LOCATION:  Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st St, Tinley Park

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Recreation Management, Facility Operations, or related field is preferred. Supervisory experience or an equivalent is required. Attention to detail, problem-solving expertise, and the ability to articulate well in both verbal and written form is required as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Must obtain/maintain CPR Certification within 3 months of hire date with intentions to obtain a CPR Instructor Training Certificate within the first year.  

 

INCENTIVES:  This full-time position requires flexibility to work weekends and evening hours.  Salary range begins at $46,000/annually DOQ.
