We have an exciting full-time job opportunity as FACILITIES SPECIALIST II! Our Facilities Specialist team plays an important role in maintaining safe and clean District facilities! Most of the work will be at Courts Plus, additional duties may be assigned at other District Facilities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: As Facilities Specialist II, you'll be responsible for overseeing the pool maintenance and performing daily water chemistry testing (Courts Plus Pool and Outdoor Pools), as well as performing building maintenance and inspections. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:
Perform building maintenance, painting, custodial duties and general repairs
Set up and break down rentals at assigned facilities
Remove snow from parking lots and sidewalks
Oversee and coordinate contracted work as directed by manager
Oversee custodial and operational supply inventory
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
High school or trade school diploma or equivalent with 2 years experience in facility maintenance
Valid Illinois driver’s license
Current CPO Certification
Knowledge of facility maintenance practices and understanding of building trades
Knowledge of pool/spa chemistry, testing procedures and maintenance procedures necessary to provide a sanitary aquatics environment
Understanding of plumbing, electrical and HVAC functions
Ability to operate a variety of power tools and heavy equipment
Knowledge of OSHA requirements
WHEN YOU’LL WORK: Tuesday - Saturday 4:30am - 1:00pm
WHAT YOU’LL GET:
The anticipated starting pay for this non-exempt position is $40,957/year. Actual salary will depend upon qualifications.
