We’re seeking a Facilities Park Specialist III who thrives on getting their hands dirty—repairing, constructing, and maintaining our beloved parks and facilities. If you have skills in carpentry, construction, or pavement and playground maintenance, we want you on our team!

What You’ll Do: 
  • Lead the charge in maintaining, repairing, and building everything from playgrounds and fences to HVAC systems and concrete pathways. 
  • Put your expert carpentry and construction skills to use, making sure our parks are not only functional but beautiful. 
  • Manage exciting projects from start to finish—researching materials, creating cost estimates, and may lead crews of full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff. 
  • Stay ahead of the game by maintaining our facilities with precision and making sure nothing’s out of place. Whether it's routine fixes or major repairs, you’re the one we’ll count on to get it done right. 
  • Be the problem-solver. From electrical troubleshooting to plumbing repairs, your skills will shine as you find solutions to keep everything running smoothly. 
 
What You Bring: 
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in one or more trades: carpentry skills will be prioritized, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or concrete. Certified Playground Inspector (CPSI) or the ability to obtain within 90 days. 
  • Lead projects and work independently while managing a crew of park enthusiasts. 
  • A passion for the outdoors—you’ll be working outside in all kinds of weather, making sure our parks are always ready for the community to enjoy. 
  • Physical strength to handle heavy lifting, equipment use, and long hours on your feet. 
  • A valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) and the ability to earn your Pesticide Operator’s License within 90 days. 
  • Bonus points if you’re bilingual or have experience with heavy equipment.
