HOURS:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. The scheduled hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, including a half-hour unpaid lunch. Overtime shall be paid for all hours over forty. The hours may change at the discretion of the Superintendent of Parks. Evening and weekend hours may be required to assist the Park District with special events or other projects when needed.

Education, Experience & Training:
Associates degree in Horticulture or landscape design or four years of work-related experience preferred. Basic knowledge and experience in grounds maintenance and basic supervision skills are required. Ability to pass a general standards test for chemical application within 6 months of hire. In good physical condition with sufficient strength to lift and hold 50 pounds. A valid Illinois Drivers License is required. CPR/AED certification is required and training will be provided by the Park District
