Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can thrive socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. This role involves planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that support early learning standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and development.
- Observe and assess children’s development regularly and maintain accurate records.
- Support the individual needs of each child, adapting activities to accommodate different learning styles and developmental levels.
- Foster positive relationships with children and their families, providing regular communication and updates on progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan activities and share best practices.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and licensing regulations.
- Participate in professional development and ongoing training.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (required or preferred based on local requirements).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Proven experience working with young children in a preschool, daycare, or similar setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
